Hull design & construction
In the old days (30-40 years ago), it was common to compensate for heavy and inefficient deep Vee hull designs by simply adding large motors and excessive fuel consumption. To this day it is still pretty common to reproduce older hull designs – truth is few manufacturers actually design their own.
Modern times call for modern designs which are more efficient, more comfortable, more maneauvreable and require less horsepower and less fuel.Falcon’s range of modern hulls, through years of extensive race-winning and ongoing global research, will amaze you. They appear conventional, but they will exceed your expectations in every way. Quick planing, an exceptionally dry ride and excellent performance are but a few standard features. All hulls are designed in-house.
All hulls & GRP products are constructed to exact international standards using only the highest grades of materials available. Falcon makes use of a variety of modern GRP and composite components, over-engineering every hull to be strong, durable, impact absorbing and weight efficient. All hulls are constructed using a moulded hull, moulded deck and a moulded chassis. Use of marine-certified plywood is kept to a minnimum and only yachtbuilding certified GRP materials are used.
